In 2017, I moved to the border of Washington and Canada, surrounded by fruit trees and wineries. I like wine, but I live on fruit, so I spend most of the summer eating and storing. I'm not making jam. No way, too much work, too much sugar. And I only have so much freezer space, so I save it for blueberries, raspberries and tomatoes. The peaches, plums, pears, apples, strawberries and cherries - I chop, dehydrate, store in beautiful jars on the counter, and eat them by the handful all winter, or add them to cereal, salad, trail mix.
