The whole altar / stage is now down, and there is enough wood framing and plywood to build the new stages and a facing for the missing wall here at the back of the altar. Unbelievable!
We will be ready for classes in this space on Friday. Spread the word: 9 am Friday class is ON!
Today starts at 9:00 am: We need the pews to be moved and the trash wood brought to the dump or the burn pile, so volunteers with long trailers and pick up trucks would be great. Little bits of wood and nails need to be picked up and trashed. We'd like to borrow a shop vac or two, so we can get all the saw dust and splinters up. We will need carpentry skills and tools to create this new wall along the front.
So many people are going on the gratitude list from yesterday! Zeina C, Irma and Mario P, George B, Ron B, Jim M, Stephanie and Dave B, Jerry and Cathy S, and donors Molly S, Carol W, Linda M, Jerry & Cathy and Sally D.
If I missed you name, please let me know.
Love it all.

The next Buddha may take the form of a community - a community practicing understanding and loving kindness, a community practicing mindful living. This may be the most important thing we can do for the survival of the Earth.”
