I’ve always loved toast with butter melting under a sprinkle of cinnamon and brown sugar. This is not a bad treat, at any age, but it’s really easy to upgrade.

These days, I make a blend of cinnamon with turmeric powder and blueberry powder, and use local honey instead of butter and sugar. The turmeric and blueberry powders are incredibly good for my whole body’s well being, including eyes, skin, and teeth. The mix is a super super superfood, and I can have a half a teaspoon instead of a sprinkle. Also, it tastes like heaven.

See the before and after picture and do your own taste test at home. You’ll be a convert too.

Tips: I use about 40% cinnamon and 30/30 on the other two. Play around with your blend. You can find blueberry powder in the supplements section of a decent healthy food store. Adding sliced banana, strawberry, apple, or a scoop of berries makes this a lovely light Sunday treat.
